Before I started in real estate, I was going to be an architect. On family road trips growing up my face would be glued to the car window to watch the skyline grow from a distance. I studied at Ball State University to receive my Masters in Architecture, with a concentration in Sustainability and Residential Design, then started working at a small firm in the Chicago Wrigley Building right before the Great Recession halted all new residential projects.
As a broker, I've found my passion for residential development perfectly matched with Chicago’s rental market and the new construction high rises being built. I went from drawing CAD files on a screen to helping renters find their home and have seen firsthand how spaces create (or don’t) someone's everyday quality of life.
My background in architecture helps me anticipate what's most important for my clients. I can visualize your exact ideal apartment from a brief conversation. While touring, I'm thinking about how the layout and orientation affects your utility bills. I'll tell you endless facts about Chicago’s history, neighborhood dynamics, and the details that impact your living experience—like if the HVAC system will stay the temperature you want all year round.

I know that luxury is unique to each person. It can be a comfortable space with nice finishes, but luxury is also expecting a service (like myself) to do what they say they’re going to do, anticipating your needs, and advocating on your behalf.
It’s living in an apartment where you can admire the skyline through your floor-to-ceiling windows as you sit to eat dinner. It’s a morning reset for fresh air along the lakefront. It’s convenient access to neighborhood amenities, world class restaurants, and a vibrant community. Whatever luxury means to you, I’m here to help you find it!
Personal Life
My professional and personal life are very intertwined. My wife and partner of 12+ years has named, branded, and marketed some of Chicago’s newest apartment buildings. We met when she moved from Boston and was referred to me by a client to help her find a Chicago apartment!
Since meeting, we’ve loved traveling the globe from Siem Reap to Athens to Cairo to Tokyo. There have been so many incredible places however, Moosehead Lake in Maine has become a happy place for us. It’s absolutely beautiful and very remote.
Our toddler, Casper, has been our newest adventure. His excitement for watching airplanes, fire engines, buses, and “cars that go vroom” has made living downtown even more fun for us.
